Bruce came to us wanting a new in-dash system for his 2014 Touareg. And as well as all the standard features, he had a couple of very specific requirements..... on-board Navigation and a CD player!
Thanks to our friends at Pioneer Electronics Australia, we were able to say "no problem, let's do this".
Check out Pioneer's flagship AVIC-Z930DAB 7" wireless navigation receiver looking schmick in the new gloss black fascia panel. This unit features AM/FM/DAB radio, CD/DVD player, dual USB input, wireless CarPlay / Android Auto, dual camera input and most importantly iGo Nextgen Navigation with maps embedded in the Pioneer's internal memory. So, no internet or smartphone connection required for guidance.
As usual, we've retained the steering wheel audio controls and the rear parking camera, as well as loading a VW start-up logo.
