Mini Buckets

Big thank you to the bro Gary Speers from Ground Breakers. Gary gives away a bunch of cards each term to give the kids something at the end of term or during a Mini Buckets camp. Thanks Big G, we appreciate your support. Noticed there were a bunch of Curry cards in this last batch & the kids loved it.

And that's a wrap.

Thank you to everyone that attended the camp today. Really proud of how the children behaved, showed respect to coaches & other athletes, all while being competitive & staying focused throughout the length of the camp.

Appreciate the help from my team today with photos, organising food & prizes as well as being on the floor. You can't run a camp without the support of these people, so thank you, Coach Marcus, Coach Zae, Skye, MJ, Miss Bec Whittaker & Coach Hope & also Miss Helaina for jumping in & supporting.

If anyone is keen for future camps or Mini Buckets programs please reach out.

Will post some more photos throughout the next couple of weeks.

Bit of fun to finish the term. Finger tip control, keepy uppy, ball control & our Kids vs Parents game which gets our parents involved with the children's development. They see you getting involved, they enjoy it more.

Enjoy the break & don't forget our camp next Friday the 25th of September.

Check out our page for more information.

Term 4 is a 9 week basketball term, if your interested in joining our sessions, flick me a message or email me at [email protected].

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there, hope you have all had a fabulous day.🏀

As per usual, spent the day doing basketball things⚡️ with Hope & enjoying the little comforts ☕️of early mornings 🌄

We're gearing up for our next camp.

Happy birthday Mini Buckets, we are 3 years old today.

I would like to thank everyone that has been part of the program & all the support since we started. As we continue to grow, we still emphasise that 'Anyone Can Play' , you just need the right coach. We strive to be part of our community & growing a love for the game of Basketball. Thanks to my Coaches & family that have the same passion for growing the game.

Again thank you all.

Just a reminder our Mini Buckets Beginners sessions run on a Wednesday afternoon at Logan Metro Sports & Events Centre from 4pm. Come check out our sessions & join in the fun.

Big thank you to everyone that supported myself & Logan Thunder Blue U14s team at the State Champs over the school holidays, unfortunately we didn't medal.

We had the best Defence during our pool games losing only 2 games both by a total of 5 points, losing by 1 point in a nail bitter to miss the Semi's.

We ended the tournament finishing 6th in our division & I couldn't be prouder of the way the girls represented there association & the sponsors that helped get them there.

Highlights for myself this season were the growth of the girls skill set, game time situational understanding & the gritty Defense they showed during tough games/situations. They left it all on the court & that is all any coach can ever ask for.

See you again soon on the hardwood.

❤️⚡️🏀
