Thanks to Karl for having me on his show this week. The full clip is in comments below.

Australia has so much potential in this country in the form of our wealth.

If we want to make the most of it it’s time we started to retrain our children in trades that will build productive infrastructure and generate real goods.

People First is advocating to increase the military apprenticeship scheme and start an infrastructure bank to do just that.

If you want to support us support our children please consider signing up today at Peoplefirstparty.au

Have a great weekend.

Another day, another sellout from corporate Australia. 👇

This time it’s Qantas who is looking at sending Australian jobs offshore.

Why isn’t the Federal government doing something to stop companies from sending jobs offshore? And more importantly why aren’t the Unions complaining about this?

While I think it’s a sellout, to be fair to corporates why would you employ people in Australia when you have to be incur payroll tax and wade through endless State Government red tape.

Not to mention having to compete with offshore companies that can shift their profits offshore.

People First will abolish payroll tax and nationalise workers compensation to standardise it across Australia.

We will also increase taxes on profits sent offshore to fund more tax cuts for Australians.

“Qantas will send a small team to India to investigate a proposal from technology company Accenture to outsource hundreds of back office jobs to the country as a cost saving exercise.

It's understood numerous roles have already been identified as suitable for outsourcing in the areas of finance, marketing and human resources, among others.

Accenture referred inquiries to Qantas which said the companies were in "early stage discussions but no formal agreement is in place and no decisions have been made"

"Like all organisations, Qantas has been looking at ways to accelerate the use of technology and AI to help us modernise the way we work and deliver better outcomes for our customers and our people," said a Qantas spokesman.”

The government should not punish low income earners with punitive taxes.

To those of us who understand the tax and transfer system, the figures attached in comments below are not surprising. 👇

The marginal rate of tax on pensioners and the unemployed on incomes between $18,200 and $65,000 is so prohibitively high that it discourages people from working despite the fact they can’t make ends meet.

I’ve also pointed out how it punishes young people starting their careers especially apprentices.

The problem is nothing new - it’s decades old and entrenches the welfare and poverty trap.

No major party is willing to do something about this.

People First will. By lifting the tax free threshold to $45,000 it means pensioners can earn up to almost $15,000 over and above the pension before they pay any tax.

People should not be taxed below the poverty line. Not only does it make it harder to make ends meet, it discourages people from continuing to work or looking for work.

If we want to get Australia back on track we need to ensure our low income earners are protected.

It’s why we will always put the Australian People First.

“A new report exposes how the tax system and Age Pension eligibility rules combine to send some part-pensioners' incomes backwards and strip more than two-thirds of the income of many others.

It found a pensioner with $200,000 in super earning between $15,000 and $65,000 from employment annually paid an effective marginal tax rate above 66 per cent.

For a pensioner earning between $25,000 and $30,000, their effective marginal tax rate was 77 per cent, while if they earned $65,000, their effective tax rate would be 106 per cent.”

Last weeks event in North Africa shows why immigration is one of the biggest failures amongst Western countries over the last one to two decades.

While Australia has managed to contain boat arrivals for the time being, when it comes to migrants arriving by plane, immigration is a completely different matter.

While there tends to be a focus on border controls there is very little substance when it comes to recognising bureaucratic failures in managing immigration.

There are serious systemic failures between relevant government agencies that need to be resolved by improving cooperation and coordination.

People First will make the following changes to managing immigration into Australia:

• Tax file numbers, sponsors and expiry dates will be linked to visas issued to enable better tracking of migrants amongst government departments

• Points based and Skills based visas will be abolished and instead replaced by employers applying for work visas directly. Our view is If there is no sponsoring employer, applicants are not in demand.

• Indian migration agreements will be abolished. Given the difference in population size and income distribution the Indian Migration and Mobility agreement is completely asymmetrical and doesn’t serve Australia’s best interests.

Did you know that when governments sell our Infrastructure they often sign away the right to build new Infrastructure without having to pay compensation to the corporations who bought our infrastructure.

This is just another example of how our governments have sold us out.

Why couldn’t politicians channel Rob Sitch and just not signed off on the deal?

“In Australia, strict "no-compete" clauses that explicitly ban governments from building things are legal limitations on sovereign power.

Instead, agreements utilize Material Adverse Effect (MAE) or Competing Infrastructure clauses. These clauses require state governments to pay steep financial compensation if a new public project reduces the private operator's revenue.

Major privatized assets and long-term public-private partnerships (PPPs) that feature these protective financial mechanisms include toll roads, ports and airports.

Toll roads are the most common assets protected by compensation clauses. If a state government builds a free, high-capacity parallel road that bleeds traffic from the tolled asset, it triggers an MAE claim.

The landmark Kennett-era concession deed famously included an MAE clause. This clause long complicated Victoria's regional transport planning because it protected the operator against state-built projects that diverted traffic.”

Justice is yet to be delivered here in Australia.

Over a thousand reported deaths from COVID vaccines in Australia yet the TGA only recognised less than 2% of those.

There was a lot of chatter last week regarding Anthony Fauci and his involvement in the cover up around the origins of Covid.

But the cover up went much further than Fauci’s immediate circle of evil clowns.

Here in Australia, the TGA knowingly covered up the death of a 52 year old man who died from the Pfizer vaccine in July 21. Despite being sent an autopsy report by a coroner in NSW that ruled death by the Pfizer vaccine, the TGA failed to report this case to the public.

Not only did they fail to report the death, the TGA continued to tell people the Pfizer jab was safe and effective.

Because the rollout of the TGA was on an emergency basis the TGA had an obligation to monitor the rollout for side effects and then act on key safety signals.

The TGA failed to warn the public that death could be a side effect of the vaccine. It begs the question as to how many other deaths from the jab went unreported?

What is so significant about this case however is that there is no greater authority on causation than the coroner.

While the TGA could dismiss my questions in estimates as being wrong or misleading, the Coroner was the expert.

What the TGA did in ignoring his determination was negligence pure and simple.

Negligence that could be argued was industrial manslaughter because this death occurred early in the vaccine rollout.

Had the TGA made people aware of the risks of the vaccine many injuries and deaths could have been prevented.

The head of the TGA John Skerritt and his colleagues in various Health Departments should be charged for this cover up.

Seeing justice and compensation for the thousands of people who had their lives destroyed by the Covid vaccines is something that needs to happen as soon as possible.

Last week I discussed with Mark Bouris a little understood part of our economy - monetary policy.

The full clip is on comments below.

In 1985 Paul Keating removed capital controls and allowed foreign banks to start lending to Australian families via domestic banks.

This policy decoupled the price of a house from earnings and instead linked it to foreign inflows.

This fuelled an explosion in house prices and household debt.

It also meant Australia created a rod for its back.

Instead of ensuring the cost of finance was distributed to other Australians, mainly the older generation to fund their retirement, we were now transferring our hard earned earnings offshore instead of distributing them to our children.

At the same time household earnings for blue collar workers started to decline as tariff protections on manufacturing was removed.

A lot of these productive jobs were replaced by Mickey Mouse jobs in Universities, Bureaucracies and Superannuation that didn’t produce any real goods but transferred wealth to the inner city at the expense of the metropolitan and regional centres.

The mining boom in the early 2000’s has managed to mask a lot of the wealth distribution but our younger generation are now inheriting both household debt and government debt due to the poor economic government decisions of the 1980’s and 1990’s. This includes the reckless privatisation of infrastructure of State governments.

To reverse this trend, Australia needs to start building and retraining our younger generation in how to build. We also need to lower taxes on wages and allow young people to keep their superannuation to reduce their debt burden.

This would be funny if it wasn’t so tragic

Stop taxing Australians to be productive.

We need to build real assets in this country that produce real goods and services if we want to provide our children with a prosperous future and to minimise the impact of AI.

Yet we tax employers that employ Australians to do just that in the most complicated way by having six different state governments charge six different rates and thresholds.

It’s not surprising that Australian companies are packing up and moving offshore.

Payroll tax is the height of stupidity and a road block to future prosperity.

On the other hand foreigners who buy and sell paper assets on the Australian Stock Exchange pay no stamp duty on those assets nor do they pay capital gains tax if they own less than 10% of the stock.

This threshold applies to each foreign entity - it is not cumulative.

This allows foreigners to scalp our children’s wealth via tax free capital gains.

This rort is just another example of our own tax system working against us whilst political parties sit idly by and do nothing.

People First is the only party that is willing to address both of these issues by charging stamp duty on paper assets to fund the abolition of payroll tax.

Not only will this encourage employment in Australia, it will increase profits and therefore dividends from ASX companies helping investors here in Australia.

We will also abolish the CGT exemption on foreigners and use that to lower taxes on Australian incomes.
