✈️ Big week of achievements back in September!

Monday saw Hannah Dobbin take to the skies for her first solo flight, followed by a huge Wednesday with three flight tests — congratulations to Ben Scouller on his G3 rating, Celeste Vogiatzakis on her G2 rating, and Elliot Moniz on passing his PPL flight test!

✈️ First Solo for Jacob Anstice!

A big congratulations to Jacob Anstice on completing his very first solo flight this week — a huge milestone and an unforgettable moment in every pilot’s journey.

B200 WXN has officially joined the fleet with the application of her Flight One tail feathers. We look forward to having her at the service of our charter clients for many flights to come, based primarily at our Wellcamp facility.

Exciting times ahead for the Flight One Group! We are pleased to announce the integration of Wellcamp Airport into our Charter & Logistics network footprint.

Not only does this increase our turbine fleet size to 5 company owned King Airs (4x B200, 1x B350) but enhances our capability to offer our clients, new and existing, direct flights to more of their preferred destinations.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish John and Josie Bain, long time operators of the local Air Charter Coordinators business, all the best as they take a step back and start enjoying some quality semi-retirement.

Congratulations to Stacey Hill on achieving his very first solo flight at Archerfield in VH-LOK on 14 August. A huge milestone in every pilot’s journey — well done, Stacey!

✈️ Milestone moments for Ben Gyetvay!
Congratulations to Ben on passing his RPL flight test and now progressing into his Private Pilot Licence training.
Here he is in VH-LOK on a recent navigation exercise — finding his way back to Archerfield after his instructor tried to get him lost. Clearly working hard, and still loving every moment in the skies!

Flight One has a long history of support to the air activities branch of the Scouting Association, and today we were privileged to host the Girl Guides as they soaked up their first taste of flight. Identifying talent earlier and fostering aptitude are just two of the pillars on which we hope to promote a strong industry for years to come.
