Toowong Rowing Club

The 2026 World Rowing Masters Regatta took place from 9-13 September in Lake Bled, Slovenia and was attended by a strong TRC contingent. 5 days of competition on beautiful Lake Bled where the weather ranged from sunshine to storms drawing podium results and a nail biting finish in the MixD8+. Congratulations to all the athletes presenting the Blue and Gold on the European stage:

This week a number of our TRC Youth & HP Athletes travelled to Nanjing, China to take part in the inaugural Sino-Australian Collegiate Rowing and Dragonboat Friendship Challenge. The challenge is a new flagship youth engagement initiative connecting Australian and Chinese tertiary students through sport and cultural exchange. Jemima Powell, Robyn Matthews, Maddie Howard, Sarah Brittain and Georgia Mackay joined athletes from UQBC to represent the University of QLD in the event.
