Psoriasis & Dermatitis 😬

Scalp Psoriasis & Scalp Dermatitis (seborrheic Dermatitis) are two distinct chronic inflammatory skin conditions.

Scalp Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease causing thick, dry, silvery-white plaques, while seborrheic Dermatitis is a common condition causing thin yellowish, greasy scales. Sometimes they overlap as a hybrid condition called sebopsoriasis.

What can help:
*Medicated Shampoos with coal tar, salicylic acid, or ketoconazole
*Topical prescription corticosteroids
*Natural oils like Coconut or Olive Oil to soften the scales
*Avoiding triggers like stress and harsh chemicals.

Crystal's New Hours💥

Just to remind everyone, Crystal will be working more hours from Tuesday 1st September.😁

Her hours will be:
1st Week - Tuesday 7.30am to 11am & Friday 8am to 2pm.
2nd Week - Monday 2pm to 6pm & Friday 8am to 2pm.

Crystal will be taking Appointments during these Hours for: Wash, Treatment & Blowdrys, Regrowth Tints, All Over Colour Refreshes & Toners.☺️

Salon Cost Breakdown🤑

When you visit the Salon, why do you pay what you pay? And why is this cost needed to be altered over your next few Appointments.🤔 The cost of wages has gone up. This then affects Super payments, Tax payments. They all increase. Salon stock goes up and I'm not talking about just the Retail on the shelves. Shampoo etc for the Basin, Hair Colours, Powder lightener, Developer & Styling Products do also. Other Services have increased: things like Electricians, Plumbers, the people that sharpen our Scissors etc, (they've got all the same Price Increases within their Business & need to add it all to their Services too.) Other Sundries like Tissues, Colour Wipes, foils, tools, disinfectant etc - all has had to increase too. Electricity & Water charges have sky rocketed. Although I work from home, that extra cost falls under my Business. Business Insurance isn't the same cost, year to year either.....like everything it goes up too and I have to have 2 different kinds to run.😬

Unfortunately for my Business to soak up all this cost on the prices I have been charging, means that: I won't get a wage for my first time ever, I'll have to work on less stock which means I might not be able to cater to all the Services I offer now. I won't have Crystal, (meaning I can't have as many people in the Salon = less Clients I can do), it's a ripple effect that doesn't just stop in the Salon and with you guys. As mentioned in a previous post, we will be adjusting our prices for our Services over the next little while. If there is a change to your Service cost that you'd like to discuss, please feel free to do so. 😊 As of 2027, everyone will be on the new prices.☺️ Regards, Sarah🌻
