Lovely to catch up with Rollo and his family today 😍
Rollo struggles with excitement and over arousal when seeing Jasper his kitty friend, and while he has made a lot of improvement, we have tweaked a few things to help get cohabitation that little step closer.
His humans are putting in lots of work so watch this space.

Teddy, Star and Apollo have been learning all about how to focus on their humans, build body awareness and confidence, plus learn manners and skills to help in everyday life.

Their training journey has just started and it's out into the big wide world now!

A dog is more than a well-behaved pet; they are individuals with specific needs and emotions.

It’s essential to understand their limits, respect their natural behaviours, and provide an environment where they can thrive.

Training should always be about enhancing the relationship with your dog, not forcing them into situations they’re not ready for.

We feel like a broken record 😬but please SHARE this so lots more people think about keeping their pets safe 🐾🫣

Riverfire is on again in Brisbane so if you live anywhere in the vicinity of the fireworks please note:

➡️Keep your pets indoors in a safe, calm place. No cat or dog enjoys fireworks, even if they aren't outwardly fearful of them.
➡️Close windows, doors, curtain and blinds (it will be hot tomorrow so consider leaving aircon on).
➡️Mask the sounds as best as you can using music, white noise, radio/TV.
➡️Distract your dog with calming activities such as chews or food toys.
➡️Be calm yourself, and you absolutely can provide comfort and reassurance if your pet asks for it.
➡️If you use medication for your pet, check with your vet what dose will work best.
➡️Use calmatives (zylkene etc), thundershirts or TTouch wraps if your dog needs them.

Pilots from the Royal Australian Airforce have Riverfire dress rehearsals ahead of the main event on Saturday.✈️

A C-17A Globemaster III and two F/A-18F Super Hornets will perform low-level flight manoeuvres through Brisbane's C*D on Thursday and Friday afternoons.

There's plenty of vantage points to choose from, including Victoria Bridge, Neville Bonner Bridge, South Bank Promenade and Kangaroo Point Cliffs.

You'll likely hear the roar of the aircrafts if you're around the city or surrounding suburbs during the flypast.

The full aerial display will kick off just after 4:50pm on Saturday before the fireworks.
