We’re excited to announce the launch of IA Group LLC USA and welcome Matt Mansfield as Vice President, leading the establishment and growth of our US business.
 
Based in Los Angeles, Matt brings more than 35 years of industry experience and will lead IA’s US operations, client development and industry partnerships as we build our presence in this new market.
 
With seven studios across Australia and now a dedicated presence in the United States, IA Group LLC USA provides an exciting platform to support existing clients, develop new relationships and expand IA’s project capabilities internationally.

This month, we’re celebrating two important milestones across the IA team.

Emma Green, celebrating 10 years with IA, Emma has played a key role in the growth of our Perth studio, contributing to many significant projects while building strong client relationships, always having a passion for design along with mentoring our team. Her recent promotion to Studio Manager – Design reflects both her leadership and design expertise.

In our Sydney studio, Architect Jeffrey Garcia marks five years with IA. Jeffrey is often at the core of our Sydney studio, being the glue that keeps our team bonded even during times of fast paced output and capex project delivery. Never missing a beat to bring a consistent can-do attitude that encourages the entire team, he somehow manages to always have a proactive attitude regardless of situational complexity.

A calm, refined workplace, designed around people, function and panoramic runway views.

We’re proud to share our completed fit-out for ANMAC at Canberra Airport. Situated within a building defined by expansive perimeter glazing, the design needed to maximise connection to the external environment while maintaining acoustic comfort and visual calm.

Sculptural curved acoustic ceiling elements became the defining architectural statement, shaping meeting and work zones, enhancing acoustic performance, and giving the space a quiet sense of purpose. Strong visual rhythm created through curves, arches, and softened junctions runs throughout, while a carefully composed neutral material palette, refined timber tones, textured wall finishes, soft greys, speaks to the attention behind every decision.

Strategic zoning transitions from open work areas through to enclosed meeting rooms and quiet spaces. Lounge and collaboration zones that feel relaxed yet purposeful. Meeting rooms framed by expansive glazing, ensuring connection to the landscape beyond.

The result is a future-focused workplace that balances collaboration, focus, and flexibility, and reflects ANMAC’s role and identity with confidence.

We’re proud to unveil the newly completed workplace for BAE Systems: Evans Building - a space that brings their people together, supports the way they work, and pushes the boundaries of their own design standards.
This dynamic environment delivers a balance of high-performance functionality and welcoming, people-focused design. Specialist areas — including secure meeting spaces, project zones, collaboration and breakout areas — give teams the right setting for every task. Ergonomic workstations ensure comfort and long-term wellbeing.

At the heart of the fitout, is the central breakout hub: a communal, unzoned space where everyone can connect, recharge, and meet informally away from the secure work areas. It’s a new focal point for team culture and spontaneous collaboration.
