Conservationists from the Australian National Botanic Gardens and the New South Wales government are working to save the Eucalyptus recurva species from extinction, with only six of the trees growing in the wild.
There are only six of these trees left in the wild. Conservationists are cloning them The trees are estimated to be between 3,000 to 6,000 years old but they have no future without intervention.

Have you seen Craig?
ACT Policing is seeking public help to locate 42-year-old Craig Novak, who has not been seen for over two weeks.
Craig was last seen on Wednesday 16 September, when his vehicle was spotted on local traffic cameras.
Police say the 42-year-old last made contact with his family via a text the day before his car was seen.
Craig is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 182cm tall, with a medium build, brown receding hair, and brown eyes.
He may be travelling in a black 2017 Mazda 3 hatchback with ACT registration YMF73A.
Police and Craig's family hold concerns for his welfare, and are urging anyone who has seen him or may have information about his whereabouts to contact ACT Policing on 131 444.

Detectives are investigating damage caused to windows at an ACT government building in Belconnen.
Police blocked off areas near the Housing ACT Central Access Point at Emu Bank this morning.
Staff inside the building were temporarily locked down, and were sent home for the day.
The Housing ACT office is closed.
ACT Policing is urging anyone who may have seen people acting suspiciously in the area overnight, or early this morning, to contact Crime Stoppers.
Canberrans are being urged not to be complacent despite an 'average' risk of bushfires over the coming months.
The fire season officially began today, and authorities are hopeful a new jingle will inspire people to prepare.
