You don’t have to feel a certain way to be welcome in God’s presence.

Some Sundays, you arrive full of gratitude. Other Sundays, you walk through the doors carrying frustration, grief, disappointment or questions you’re afraid to say out loud.

And Jesus isn’t intimidated by any of it.

He knows what it’s like to be human. He experienced sorrow, exhaustion, rejection and pain. He didn’t remain distant from our world—He stepped right into it.

Worship isn’t pretending everything is okay. It’s bringing your whole self to the God who came close.

So come as you are. Bring the joy. Bring the questions. Bring the tears.

You don’t have to manufacture a feeling to meet with Jesus.

He’s already met you in your humanity.

Church was never meant to be a spectator sport.

Jesus didn’t build His Church so we could simply find a seat, enjoy a service, and go home unchanged. He invited us into something much bigger—a movement carrying His love into the world.

And our greatest weapon isn’t judgement. It isn’t winning arguments or pointing out what’s wrong with everyone else.

It’s love made tangible.

Serving when it costs us.
Welcoming people who feel far from God.
Creating spaces where everyone belongs before they believe.
Showing our city what Jesus is like.

So don’t just attend church.

Help build the kind of church unchurched people love to attend.

There’s a part for you to play.

There are places in the human heart that explanations can’t reach.

Loneliness. Rejection. Abandonment. The ache of wondering whether anyone really understands.

Jesus does.

The Good Shepherd isn’t distant from our pain. He stepped into it. At the cross, Jesus entered the darkest depths of human suffering—and He did it to bring us back to God.

So when you walk through seasons where God feels far away, remember: feelings of abandonment are not proof of His absence.

The Shepherd who understands your darkest valley is the same Shepherd who promises to walk with you through it.

You are not walking alone.

Following Jesus means refusing to let division decide who deserves our love.

Our world constantly invites us to sort people into categories: us and them, right and wrong, friend and enemy. But Jesus keeps doing something radically different.

He makes room at the table.

Psalm 23 doesn’t promise a life where every difficult person disappears. Instead, it shows us a God whose presence is greater than the tension around us.

Sometimes the miracle isn’t God removing someone from the room.

Sometimes the miracle is what His grace does in us while they’re still there.

A softer heart.
A different response.
The courage to listen.
The ability to love someone we don’t understand.

That’s the way of our Good Shepherd.
