General Automotive and diagnostics
Absolutely stoked to wrap this one up and send it home to the customer.
Originally arriving for tuning and some “minor electrical repairs”
After a bit of inspection, we found a whole host of assembly, wiring, air conditioning, electrical and just general mechanical problems, and a few fire hazards along the way
An overhaul of the brake/pedal box system, a complete redo of the a/c system (something that’ll actually perform in our climate)
So so many hours of electrical, mechanical and plumbing repairs
Once we got the car stuff sorted it was time to move onto the tuning, after being to multiple other shops and ending in disappointing results, we made sure to take the time and provide a properly tuned car.
The big LS7 pushing out some reasonable aspirated horsepower, finishing up just under 570whp at 7200rpm
28/09/2026
Quick change up to FWD mode for this improved production accord
Sporting a full catalog of our favourite goodies, it was relatively trouble free
Between the link razor pdm, fury x ecu and 12 button keypad the management side was a breeze to configure
Stock K24 with some simple intake/oil pump upgrades and a set of valve springs netted us a nice power curve
Finishing up at 213whp on pump 98
Clean little 180SX in for a huge makeover
Arriving completely stock, down to the t25 and side mount intercooler, the boys quickly got to work rectifying that.
With a whole host of maintenance items to bring it up to standard cooling system overhaul, metal head gasket and studs along with a head refresh
We then got to fitting up some upgraded parts, the setup consisted of
Deatschwerks 740cc Injectors
DW200 Fuel Pump
MMP 340hp bolt on turbo
6 boost low mount manifold
Blitz front mount
Trust oil cooler kit
Link G4x Plugin with full sensor package
Oversized/baffled sump
R8 Coil Kit
Turbosmart FPR6
Not our favourite choice of turbo, a little lazier than we would like especially being 98 only, but it’s what the customer supplied and it does exactly as advertised
Link ecu controlling the multiple boost settings, finishing up with
298whp on 15psi
339whp on 20psi
E85 Tune and suspension/alignment setup completed for this S13 drift car
Being that it’s changed hands a few times and plenty of parts have been swapped, it needed a retune and a good once over followed by an alignment
Little stock bottom end vct sr and a bolt on 2871 punching out some decent power on E85, should be a decent little setup for the new owner to get comfortable in the seat and learn how to steer it before we take it any further
277whp on 12psi
338whp on 18psi
Engine run-in and Tuning session completed for this AMC Javelin
With a new engine combo put together the team wanted to get a couple of carbs jetted up so they can do some track testing playing with more/less CFM
As expected the custom build pro-systems carb was very close out of the box, only needing some small jet adjustments
The 750CFM Carb made more low down power/torque until 6400 where the extra cfm of the 830 took over.
All in all a solid result in the end just over 500whp from a 360ci stock block engine
Ben’s S14 drift car we had in for a nistune tune and a swap over to E85
He had complaints of poor response and all round laziness, and it turns out the cam timing was off a tooth and had since been corrected
During our normal tuning we noticed a lack of VCT function, and after diagnosing/repairing a broken wire in the harness we now had properly timed cams and functional vct
Keeping the stock bottom end safe and maxing the 1000cc injectors out at 355whp we decided to leave it there
Should be a whole new car to drive now
Corey’s beautiful little Datsun 1200 we recently had the pleasure of sorting out for him
Sporting a built A15 with all the fruit, even we were surprised with how well it finished up
This is a pretty typical story we see, poor running and barely drivable until 4500rpm onwards, and the previous owner/tuner tells you it’ll never drive nice on the street because it’s got Webers
After getting the carbs off and stripped and rebuilt, it became pretty apparent the engine was severely over carbureted, leading to poor drivability and just all round poor running
We decided to spend the time and calibrate them properly, and after we choked the DCOE45s down to 32mm, and got the jetting setup where we want, picked up some massive power gains and provided the customer a proper running driving streetcar
No more flat spots of backfires below 4500, it’ll idle nearly dead cold with sensibly sized jets and no fouling of plugs, just a nice clean flat afr curve that you’d expect from a properly calibrated setup.
Finished up making 147whp at 7200RPM, one of the best A series engines we’ve ever seen
Duratech powered es**rt we had in for a haltech tune and some diagnostics/repairs of a hard starting issue
Found a noisy cam sensor that was also wired backwards, with a clean bill of health it was onto the Dyno
Pretty good results in the end, built engine with some mild camshafts
218whp at 8000rpm
06/09/2026
Couple of V8 Landcruisers we’ve had the pleasure of tickling up recently
Both conservatively modified, just exhausts and tune packages
LC79 on a multimap making the following results
Daily tune : 202whp/445nm
Towing tune : 237whp/565nm
Power tune : 264whp/662nm
VDJ200 for a single towing tune, finished up making :
292whp/707nm
Jason’s tidy little s13 back for some more power upgrades after we saw it a few years ago
Great little example of a simple oem+ build, keeping everything simple and basic we went with
6boost low mount manifold
PSR 2867 Gen 2
1650cc injectors
460 pump with appropriate wiring
Turbosmart FPR6
Fenix front mount intercooler
Head studs + MLS Gasket
Link ecu controlling the show as always
Finished up with a nice little flex fuel tune, final numbers were
98 Low Boost 284whp 12psi
98 High Boost 308whp 16psi
E85 Low Boost 310whp 14psi
E85 High boost 367whp 20psi
