headspace Capalaba opened on the 28th of February in 2016, and we have been providing free mental health services to young people ever since! Our friendly staff at headspace Capalaba can assist young people aged 12 to 25 years with mental health, general health, drug, alcohol, education and employment issues. Our staff include Psychologists, Mental Health Social Workers and Counsellors, but we also have a wide range of in-kind support available. To make an appointment at headspace Capalaba:

headspace Capalaba sits on the unceded sovereign lands of the Nunukul, Goenpul and Ngugi families of the Quandamooka people. There is plenty of free parking at the centre, and we are accessible by public transport with a bus stop outside. The centre is fully accessible by wheelchair, we have access to Translating and Interpreting Services, and many of our resources are available in languages other than English.

This week we celebrated our 10th anniversary, marking a decade of providing vital, youth-friendly mental health and wellbeing support to thousands of young people and families across Quandamooka country.
We want to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone-
π to the young people and their friends and family who have trusted in us to be a part of their wellbeing journey
π to all the schools, local First Nations Elders and other community service providers that work with us to provide the best possible outcomes for all young people irrespective of their ethnicity, faith, culture, national origin, ability, gender, sexual orientation, and identity.
π to our incredible volunteers who provide us with essential insights and guidance ensuring the services we are providing meet the needs of our community
π and to our team, past and present, whose passion and dedication for supporting the mental health and wellbeing of young people remains as strong as ever!
We are incredibly grateful for the opportunities weβve had over the last 10 years allowing us to create such a welcoming, inclusive and safe space for young people, their friends and family, and look forward to honouring this for many more years to come.

Our centre will be closed from 6pm Tuesday 23rd December 2025 and will reopen at 8am on Monday 5th January 2026.
