The perfect amount of chaos and calm to remind us we’re human, alive, imperfect, beautiful, messy and splendid.

So grateful to these two souls for being so kind and gentle for my first wedding back since having a babe. Their openness to letting things unfold and be documented purely as themselves reminded me deeply why I love this thing that I do.

My god, I am a mother with a baby, earth side, in my arms. How incredibly absurd the whole thing is.

How lucky I am. How lucky we are. Steve and I. How lovely my body is for growing that small little nose, two arms, those toes. She did it, she knew she could, but how and when. She’s small, she’s here. She already has a way, a spirit, a little spark. How lovely. A source of endless somethings. Different every day, but how, I’m here every minute. A baffling and beautiful thing.
