What a special week at NT Cricket.

Hosting the Afghan Refugee Women’s XI in Darwin for a three-match series against the NT Strike, with the NT Strike women coming together for the first time since 2019.

Hearing firsthand stories of courage and resilience from these women was incredibly eye-opening and inspiring.

One of my favourite moments was shooting a mini content day with the team ahead of their UK tour in June. Seeing the smiles, the energy and the genuine joy across the group was something special. I also had the chance to share a few tips around camera gear and media-day style shooting, hopefully helping the players tell more of their own stories into the future.

I’ll be following their journey closely and can’t wait to see what’s next for this team.

I’m so blessed to be able to this work.

NT Cricket is pleased to announce the players selected to represent the NT Women’s Strike in a three‑match series against the Afghan Refugee Women’s XI.

The tour features one 40‑over match and two T20s at DXC Arena, marking the first Women’s Strike representative side since 2019.

A great milestone for women’s cricket in the Territory as participation and pathways continue to grow.
