Creating a safe sleep environment is one of the many ways we care for children each day. From following safe sleep practices and using approved cots, to completing visual checks every 5 minutes, our educators take every step to help children rest safely and comfortably.

We also work closely with families to understand each child's individual sleep routine, because feeling safe, settled and well-rested helps children learn, grow and thrive.

🚒🔥 A Special Visit from the Fire Truck! 🔥🚒

Our children were thrilled to welcome a fire truck to the centre! They had the opportunity to learn about fire safety and explore some of the important equipment firefighters use, including the hose, safety masks, and ladder. The children loved asking questions and getting a closer look at the truck.

🧡 National Child Protection Week 2026 🧡

This week marks the beginning of National Child Protection Week, and our Nursery children have started the week with a meaningful and creative experience by recreating the NAPCAN poster designed by First Nations artist Karina Jeffrey (Garawa Aboriginal Designs).

Created for this year's theme, "Every Conversation Matters: Shifting Conversation to Action," the artwork beautifully represents people from all walks of life coming together to create safer communities for children.

As the children explored the artwork, they learned about its powerful symbols. The journey line running through the centre represents the path we take each day to build safer, stronger communities, while the emu footprints and hammerhead shark symbolise moving forward with resilience, courage and strength.

Through art, conversation and shared experiences, we can help children develop a sense of belonging, safety and connection. Every conversation matters, and together we can create a brighter future for all children. 💙💚

🌈🐍 Our Kindy children have been exploring Aboriginal culture through the story The Rainbow Serpent. After reading and discussing the story together, the children collaborated on a beautiful art project, working as a team to create their very own rainbow serpent. 🎨✨

📖🎉 What a fantastic Book Week 2026! We loved dressing up as our favourite book characters and celebrating the magic of reading together. There were lots of smiles, imagination, and fun as we shared stories and brought our favourite books to life. 📚✨
