Nazareth Catholic Community

We 💛 Naz Day!

Today we celebrated our annual Naz Day, with students dressing to the theme of Lights, Camera, Action! (Nazflix). Each campus began their day with a liturgy before students had the chance to participate in lots of fun activities!

Thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special. We hope you enjoy this snapshot of the celebrations across our College! 🎉

Fantastic achievements for all and well-deserved recognition of the hard work, dedication and talent shown throughout the season. We are incredibly proud of the way our students and coaches represent Nazareth both in competition and within the wider sporting community. Great work!

So many smiles 🥹

We felt so lucky to welcome the Grandfriends of our Year 12 students to Kidman Park today! The day began with prayer before students shared their learning spaces with their grandparents and special friends, finishing with morning or afternoon tea together.

A very special celebration of the amazing people who support our senior students, especially as they come to the end of their secondary education journey!

Thank you for joining us, Grandfriends! 🫶

🎉 Our Reception students celebrated the end of their alphabet learning with a fun-filled Initialit Party!

Students came dressed as their favourite Initialit characters and enjoyed a range of activities to celebrate all they have learned throughout the year. It was wonderful to see their excitement, creativity and growing confidence as they marked this important literacy milestone.

Great work, Receptions! 👏📚✨

2016 called… and we answered 🎤✨

On Thursday and Friday night we took it ‘Back to Twenty Sixteen’, with our primary and secondary performers absolutely smashing it! From Adele and Justin Timberlake to George Michael and Sia, we had so much fun! 🕺💃

A big thank you to everyone who came along and supported our performers, and to the incredible crew who worked behind the scenes to make these two huge nights happen.

We are already counting down to next year! 🎶

Our Senior Visual Arts students enjoyed a visit to the Art Gallery of South Australia to experience the Monet to Matisse exhibition, viewing original works by some of the most influential masters of art. 🎨✨

Students explored the historical developments that shaped modern art and considered the lasting impact these artists have had on contemporary practice. They also participated in a practical workshop, extending their understanding through hands-on creative exploration.

An inspiring opportunity to see these masterpieces in real life.

🏃‍♀️⚽ Term 3 Primary Sports Wrap-Up! ⚽🏃‍♂️

From Cross Country to Western Districts Soccer and Knockout Soccer, our primary students have enjoyed a fantastic term of sport!

Congratulations to all participants for representing Nazareth so proudly. Amazing efforts and results all round. 👏🌟

Congratulations, Austin! 🎉

We are incredibly proud of mid-year Nazareth graduate Austin, who was named a finalist in the School-based Apprentice of the Year Award at the SA Training Awards. Being recognised among the top four school-based apprentices in South Australia is an outstanding achievement and a testament to the success of his flexible SACE pathway.

Congratulations also to our partner school, Western Technical College, on winning the VET for Schools Innovation Award – Nazareth has a long-established connection with WTC, especially for our Year 10s doing Try A Trade and our Year 11 and 12 students doing Certificate II and Certificate III courses. We love the ways in which Nazareth students get to develop skills, explore careers, achieve their SACE and transition successfully into further education, training and employment.

What better way to learn about Italian culture than by tasting it? 😋🇮🇹 Year 9 students enjoyed gelato con brioche, a much-loved Sicilian specialty, as part of their Italian studies. A tasty lesson that everyone enjoyed! 🍨
