Simone Tippett teaches printmaking at Stone & Quoin studio (Hindmarsh SA) & Union St Studios (Stepne Workshops are limited to small groups of 1-6 people.
Union St Printmakers exists to spread the news about all things printmaking, and to coax people over to the dark and inky side of the visual arts. Simone teaches casual printmaking classes and workshops - always by prior arrangement - aka www.unionstprintmakers.com. SATURDAY casual classes - at Union St Stepney
On a casual basis, always by prior arrangement. The mornings 10am-1pm are intaglio printmaking (drypoint, monotypes, etching, collagraphs, etc). The afternoons 1.30-4.30pm are relief printmaking (linos, wood cuts, wood engraving). MONDAY casual classes - at 6 Manton St Hindmarsh
On a casual basis, always by prior arrangement. Evenings 6-9pm for relief printmaking (linos, wood cuts, wood engraving). Most SUNDAYS & occasional TUESDAYS - at 6 Manton St Hindmarsh
Full day workshops, 10am-4pm
Always by prior arrangement. Processes include letterpress, screenprinting, textile printing, lino printing, drypoint, etching, chine colle and other specialist techniques, as booked. When not running printmaking classes, Simone spends her time curating printmaking folios and exhibitions, or playing with her presses. She is passionate about arts collaborations and sharing skills. Simone is a member of Guildhouse and the Print Council of Australia, as well as the SA contact for Enjay presses. Occasionally she sleeps, or tootles around in a kombi or on her vintage motorbike...

🖤 My lovely old Pearl platen has returned home to Kerri Ann Wright, ready for a new phase in her life, printing Kerri’s excellent linos. It’s full circle for Pearl ⚫️ I bought her from Kerri about a decade ago, when she moved out of Tooth & Nail studio… it’s so good to see her returning home where she belongs for some inky goodness 🖤🖤🖤

What a lovely birthday treat… visiting Dad & Jude, eating delicious things, playing with power tools, feeding the horses, chopping up firewood, riding the bikes & watching the water. Even the doggies are having a great time… rolling in mysterious farm things, followed by baths, a scruff on the rug & naps in front of the fire.
