Meet activity officer Agapetos Fa’aleava
Pasifika Greetings! 🌺
My name is Agapetos Fa’aleava, and I am an Activities Officers here at Inala PCYC.
For me, working with children and young people is about creating a safe space where they can be themselves, build confidence, discover their strengths, and connect with others. 💪🏽✨
I love creating opportunities for our young people to have fun, try new things, make meaningful connections, and most importantly, flourish! 🌱
There’s nothing more rewarding than watching our young ones grow from curious kids into confident, resilient and strong young leaders who know their worth and believe in what they can achieve.
Come meet Agapetos at one of drop-in sessions at Inala PCYC this week.

Road Safety Week continues, one of our awesome Driver Mentors, Alistair, broke down what makes a great driver using a surprising comparison: Dodgeball. 🤾♂️🚘
His 3 key rules for both the road and the dodgeball court: 🏼 Patient – Wait for the right moment. 🚨 Alert – Keep your eyes up and expect the unexpected. 🧠 In Control – Stay calm under pressure.
Safe driving takes strategy, focus, and quick reflexes!

Huge congratulations to Sadiya on securing her driver’s licence today! 🚗💨
Balancing son’s doctor appointments, study, and driving lessons is no easy feat, but her determination paid off.
In classic fashion, after her test today, she called me up and said, “I’m sorry, I failed...” before bursting out laughing to let me know she actually PASSED!
No more waiting around for public transport—freedom on the road awaits!
Her final message to us: “Thank you for all the hard work and the laughs along the way.”
Want to make a real difference like this in your local community? Join us as a volunteer driving mentor and help change lives, one licence at a time. Send us a message to get started!

Come down to Inala PCYC for some basketball and check out our fairy floss skills. Today until 5pm.
🚗 Proper posture isn’t just for the open road—it applies to your office desk, too!
During Road Safety Week, we’re highlighting the incredible work of our Volunteer Driving Mentor, Stephen. He sat down to share a crucial tip for new drivers: how adjusting your seat position the right way ensures maximum comfort, control, and safety behind the steering wheel.
(And no, leaning your chair all the way back like it’s an office desk doesn’t count! 😉)
Small adjustments make a massive difference in how you react behind the wheel. Ready to pass on your skills and help save lives on our roads?
🌟 Become a driving mentor today! Share your knowledge and empower the next generation of safe drivers with PCYC Inala.
