Young Parents Program

We provide case management, antenatal groups and education. Call 3357 9944 to self-refer. YPP provide peer support group work and outreach case management to support young parents to access support, information, and referral services. Case management support can further assist young parents beyond the group by providing collaborative support around the things that might impact young families, such as parenting, child development, relationships and financial factors. This involves regular outreach visits and phone contact, and may also involve advocacy and support with other agencies and referral to other relevant services.　 YPP can provide case management support to families for approximately 6 – 9 months. YPP groups can assist young families with:
Antenatal education
Peer support and building relationships
Understanding child development and milestones
Enhancing parenting skills and knowledge
Referral and support to connect to relevant services
