Join us in the Brisbane Street Mall in Launceston for this year’s Anti-Poverty Week event, bringing together community organisations and the public to raise awareness of poverty in Tasmania and encourage action for change.

This year, Anti-Poverty Week is calling on the Australian Government to establish standard measures of poverty in Australia and set targets to reduce it.

At the event, you can:
- Visit displays, activities, information and stalls supported by community and sector organisations.
- Learn more about poverty in Tasmania and the work being done across our community to support people experiencing hardship.
- Sign an Anti-Poverty Week postcard calling for action on poverty, which will be delivered to key members of the Tasmanian Government.
- Meet representatives from organisations working across Tasmania to reduce poverty and its impacts.
- Enjoy a FREE sausage sizzle thanks to Snag Chat!
The key event program will take place between 11:00am and 2:00pm.
