Ignite wonder.

Three locations for three different eras made for one pretty special night 🖤
To mark 15 years of S., we took a trip back through the milestones that have brought us to today. From Sam and a few mates chasing wonder, to a team of designers, marketers, architects and web developers creating wonder, through to today.
Fifteen years of chasing and creating wonder. Now, it’s about to ignite 🔥

What does it mean to ignite wonder?
For us, it’s turning a sketch on paper into someone’s dream home, sparking an idea within a business, or an act of kindness that opens a door for someone we may never even meet.
Over 15 years, we chased and then created these moments of wonder. Now? We’re igniting them.
‘Ignite wonder’ is about keeping that momentum going through our work, our people, and our support for communities both here and abroad. Because one ember lights another, and another…
Fifteen years ago, we started chasing wonder. We didn’t know where S. would go. We just knew we saw things differently.
Ten years later, we realised we weren’t just chasing wonder… we were creating wonder, too.
It was never taught or forced. It came from within. It was a way of life.
But wonder has never been ours to keep. We pass it on, from person to person, from idea to idea, and from our little corner of the world to places we may never see.
And now there’s momentum. An ember… a spark…
We’ve chased wonder. We’ve created wonder. Now, we’re igniting it.
We’ve started something. And fifteen years in, it feels like we’ve only just begun.

It’s official! Construction has started at Birchalls 🙌
Stage one? A new, permanent play space for little Launcestonians to play, climb and explore 🛝
This is a seriously exciting milestone, and we can’t wait to see more families spending time in Brisbane Street Mall and bringing even more life to the heart of the city.
It’s the first piece of the major redevelopment to come to life. We’ll keep you updated throughout construction 👀

When a client comes back for home number two, we know we must be doing something right 🖤
This is the second home we’ve designed for Matt and Angela, who came back to us for our creative approach to blocks others might put in the ‘too hard’ basket.
Elevated from the street, the home balances privacy with openness, capturing panoramic views across Launceston without feeling like life is happening in a fishbowl.
A challenging block, a pretty special result, and a pleasure to bring to life alongside Complete Renovations and Constructions 🙌

Who would have thought small rectangles would hold so much design power 🥵
Glossy, matte, stacked, staggered, subtle or bold – the right tile choice completes a space.
If you’re going to tile an area, you may as well make it good. Go green, go glossy, take it all the way to the ceiling or lay it in a completely different direction. There are a lot more options than white subway tiles (no offence, white subway tiles).
Swipe through some of our favourite tile moments.

For the past four weeks, our Brand & Marketing team were a bit more international than normal, with Sari joining us for work experience all the way from Austria! 🌍
With a passion for photography, video, and design, she was a natural fit. She wrangled campaign shoots (even jumping behind the lens!) and worked on everything from brand collateral to social assets. Can we keep you, Sari?!
We’re big believers in giving young’uns a real look at the industry and the opportunity to get involved, so work experience will always matter to us 🖤
Thanks for joining us and throwing yourself into everything, Sari. Our only complaint is that Austria gets you back, but at least we know where our next B&M trip is taking us!
