What a way to kick off a new season!

EventSphere has been lucky enough to manage the Tasmania JackJumpers Season Launch since their very first year in the NBL, and this year brought a whole new milestone, welcoming the Tasmania Jewels and delivering their inaugural Season Launch & Jersey Presentation alongside the JackJumpers.

We've loved watching this club grow over the years and genuinely love being a small part of the family behind it. Seeing the Jewels now take their place and start creating their own history made this year’s event one we're incredibly proud to have managed.

There’s something pretty special about the clients who keep trusting you to come back.

EventSphere has been working with Palliative Care Tasmania since 2018. Across those years there have been different teams, different leaders and plenty of change, but the relationship and trust has continued — and that means a lot.

Last week EventSphere delivered the Palliative Care Tasmania 2026 Conference, with two days of important conversations, genuine connection and some incredibly meaningful moments.

Long-term client relationships like this are a huge part of EventSphere, and something I never take for granted.

But this one really starts with my clients.

I am so fortunate to work with clients who trust me. They trust me with their events, their brands, their people and their budgets, and they trust me to care about the outcome as much as they do. That’s a privilege I never take lightly.

I certainly don’t get everything right in business, but one thing I am incredibly proud of is the relationships I’ve built and the trust I’ve earned with both clients and suppliers over the years.

Because great events are never delivered by one person. The suppliers EventSphere works with have a huge impact on what we’re able to achieve, and so many of them have genuinely become part of our event family.

I’ll never apologise for pushing hard to get the best possible outcome for a client, and I’m incredibly lucky to have partners like Federal who understand that, work with me and care about getting it right too.

As EventSphere prepares to deliver multiple conferences over the next two months, I'm finding it easy to get caught upin the 'doing', and lose sight of the bigger picture.

One of my favourite moments at every conference is standing at the back of the room once the opening session begins.
Not because I finally get to relax (that usually comes much later!), but because it's the moment when months of planning quietly become reality.

What delegates see is a seamless event.
What they don't see is everything that happened beforehand.
The speaker who missed a flight but still made it to the stage.
The last-minute AV changes.
The sponsor requests.
The seating plans that changed eight times.
The hundreds of emails, phone calls and tiny decisions that all add up to creating an experience that feels effortless.
The funny thing is, if we've done our job well, nobody notices any of it.
And that's exactly how it should be.

After almost 20 years managing conferences and events for organisations across incredibly diverse sectors, one thing has stayed the same: great events aren't about everything going perfectly.
