More than 90% of Australian tradies have experienced work-related pain or injury in the past year.

For employers, these figures highlight the importance of creating safer workplaces and responding to injuries early. Research shows that 76% of tradies say pain significantly affects their quality of life, while almost one in four fear the physical demands of their work may force them to retire early.

Tradies National Health Month is an opportunity to review how your workplace supports injury prevention, early intervention and recovery.

Work-related pain can affect employee wellbeing, productivity, attendance and long-term workforce participation. Early assessment and appropriate support can help prevent minor concerns from becoming more serious and improve return-to-work outcomes.

BeWorkFit Mackay works with employers, injured workers and other stakeholders to develop tailored rehabilitation and return-to-work programs, with regular communication and goal reviews throughout the process.

Support a safer, healthier and more productive workplace. Contact BeWorkFit Mackay to discuss injury prevention or return-to-work support.

DOB IN YOUR BOSS! 🥶🧊

Shout out to our supervisor, Belinda who was well and truly dobbed in for the 101.9 STAR FM Mackay ice bath challenge by her lovely staff. Belinda took on the full 2 MINUTE cold plunge on Saturday. And she smashed it. Every. Single. Second💪🧊

The best part? Belinda won a 6-month gym membership to City Fitness Mackay and gifted it straight to Cassie, the one who nominated her in the first place! 🫶

Belinda, you're an absolute legend. Well done!❄️🏆
