In a cost of living crisis, GST is a real barrier to accessing essential healthcare services like Exercise Physiology
Exercise Physiology is one of the only Allied Health services that still has GST applied. But we're trying to change that

It was my absolute pleasure today to host Kerri-Anne Dooley MP and Duncan Armstrong OAM OLY at Ability In Movement
Having the opportunity to connect with our local member and be able to show off the work that we're doing for the community is not something that I take for granted.
It was a really insightful conversation around:
1. Axe The Tax - Removing GST from Exercise Physiology to make essential healthcare services more accessible
2. Speaking about the Thriving Kids Initiative and making sure no family is left behind in this upcoming transition
3. The power of building strength before you need it -> for every $1 you put into EP services, you yield $14 in return as you age.
This is my first time engaging with our political leaders in this setting and I was thrilled with the enthusiasm and genuine passion Kerri-Anne Dooley MP has for this space, thanks again!

Pretty honoured for Ability In Movement to be nominated and then to be a finalist
We've come a long way and it's nice to be able to share the journey in such a community

Been a bit quiet on the socials of late, better get back to it
New clinic, new look, all the same outcomes (swipe to see some serious improvements)
We're trying our best to elevate the profession of Exercise Physiology and educate the public in the power of preventative healthcare. A very well published researcher once said
"If exercise could be packed into a pill, it would be most widely prescribed drug in existence"
Our AIM is to lead from the front with this ethos and give the Redcliffe area the highest level of care for managing chronic conditions through structured and prescribed exercise interventions
