Community Focus Association is a Community based Mental Health Lived Experience / Peer Service on the Sunshine Coast; the primary aim of this organisation is to contribute to reducing the isolation of individuals and groups within the community by promoting social interaction and connectedness, providing access to information and activities that promote mental wellbeing. MEN’S GROUP | EVERY TUESDAY
Looking for something to get you out of the house, meet some good blokes and have a bit of a laugh?
Community Focus runs a peer-led Men’s Group and they get together every Tuesday for a different activity, a bit of banter and plenty of opportunity to connect.
From walks and games to BBQs, bowling and getting out into the community — there’s no pressure to be the loudest bloke in the room. Just come along, have a go and see what happens.

After a very close community vote, we’re excited to announce the official name of our Friday afternoon creative arts group…
THE EXPRESSION PROJECT
And talk about a close one — the winning name came out on top by JUST ONE VOTE!
A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to submit a name and cast their vote. Your ideas, creativity and enthusiasm have helped shape this new group from the very beginning.
And a special congratulations to Kara, who submitted the winning name!
The Expression Project is all about creativity, connection, self-expression and having a space where you can come as you are and let your creativity do the talking.
