Vision Design Studio

A study in materiality, proportion and detail.

The kitchen, dining and living spaces at our Plenty home bring together natural stone, warm timber, soft
off-whites and strong architectural forms. Allowing the scale and structure of the home to be celebrated while still feeling warm, inviting and inherently homely.

LANDART LANDSCAPES
Striking Constructions

In Construction - Abbotsford.

A character filled city retreat being brought to life by the team at Eltcon - We Build .

Long before construction begins, every element of the home is explored in detail; the spatial planning, stone, joinery, furniture, artwork and lighting.

For this apartment it has meant refining the layout, developing the spaces in 3D, viewing and selecting materials and sourcing artwork alongside the broader palette to ensure every selection feels cohesive, considered and impactful.

Because good design is never about one beautiful element in isolation. It is about how each decision comes together to shape the experience of the finished space, and how that space ultimately reflects the individual clients who have trusted us with their home.

A few moments from our latest site visit at Plenty, checking details, resolving the last little things and probably spending far too long admiring the finishes along the way. There’s something so exciting about this stage of a project, when all of the details we have spent months drawing, sampling and refining finally start to come together on site. The stonework, sweeping arches, warm timbers, marble, aged brass, soft plaster tones and those tiny decorative details are beginning to give this home so much character. Each visit is starting to feel a little less like a building site and a lot more like the home we imagined.

A private city retreat conceived as a place to become immersed in Melbourne’s cultural landscape, framed by uninterrupted Yarra River views.

Introducing Abbotsford, a space where warmth meets contemporary design through layers of texture, materiality and unexpected detail. Think polished stainless steel, pastel high-gloss cabinetry, micro-mosaic ceramic tiles, soft Venetian plaster walls and breathtaking natural stone.

Every space has been designed to have moments of feeling expressive and playful, while grounded in others, and deeply connected to the landscape beyond. This is truly going to be a special concept to bring to life.

From our initial conversations with the clients, we’ve spent months carefully developing and refining the floorplans in close collaboration with both the builder and draftsperson. This process ensures that every design direction remains aligned with the project budget from the outset.

With the industry constantly evolving, investing time in the early stages of design is invaluable. It allows us to resolve key decisions upfront, so that when we move into detailed design, every element is both considered and achievable.

This approach not only minimises revisions and costly re-pricing, but also ensures the entire team is aligned from the very beginning, creating a clear, cohesive foundation for the project and a smooth, enjoyable design and build process for our clients.
