Join us for Sunday service this long weekend!

Rev. Jono continues our Life of David series with a sermon on 2 Samuel 13-15, titled "Sin has consequences."

Read ahead and come prepared. Take some time this week to work through the passage before we open God's Word together on Sunday.

We'd love to see you there!

📢 This Sunday!

Join us as Rev. Jono continues our series through the Life of David, preaching Part 2 from 2 Samuel 12: "You Are the Man!" — following on from last week's message on 2 Samuel 11, where we saw David's dramatic fall from grace.

Right after the service, stick around for our Building Project Forum in the LS Hall — followed by a walkthrough of the building site, which is nearing completion! 🏗️

We'll wrap up by 1:30pm at the latest. If you think you'll get hungry, bring a snack or some lunch along. Don't miss out on what's happening in this space — see you there! 🙌

This Sunday, join us as we continue our series The Life of David with a message from Rev. Jono, walking through one of the most infamous stories in David's life — his fall in 2 Samuel 11.

"The Anatomy of a Fall"

How does a man after God's own heart end up here? We'll trace the small steps that led to David's biggest failure — and what it means for all of us who think we'd never do the same.

See you Sunday! 🙏

📢 This Sunday!

11am Service — continuing our Life of David series with "The Kindness of God" (2 Samuel 9), preached by Rev. Jono. David goes looking for someone to show kindness to — and finds Mephibosheth. It's a picture of grace we didn't ask for and don't deserve. Come hear it.

Straight after service — stick around for our Missions Seminar: "Serving as Senders - Caring for Missionaries" with Charissa Mak from OMF. If we're going to send the gospel out into the world, we need to know how to care well for those who go. Bring your church lunch along — we'll be in the Cantonese Main Hall, 1-2pm.

Two reasons not to rush off this Sunday. See you there! 🙌

Good morning, church!

Here's what you've got to look forward to this Sunday!

This Sunday, we are back in our "Life of David" series. We're up to one of the significant Bible passages in the entire Bible - 2 Samuel 7 - as Rev. Jono brings a sermon titled "The House That God Built."

Make sure you read ahead and come with a heart ready to hear God speak!

Can't wait to see you all on Sunday!

Hello church!

Join us this Sunday at 11am as Rev. Dr. Allan Demond brings us a message titled Deeper, Stronger, Further, from 2 Timothy 3:14-17.

After 30 years serving as pastor at New Hope Baptist Church, Allan is now serving at MST as the Doctor of Ministry Program coordinator and Lecturer in Spiritual and Pastoral Theology. We're so grateful to have him with us this week!

And if you're curious about Jesus and the Christian faith, our annual Christianity Explored course kicks off this Sunday, too! Come along at 1:15pm for lunch, with the first session following at 2:00pm in the Cantonese Hall. Whether you're exploring faith for the first time or just want to dig deeper, everyone's welcome. RSVP to Liam Huddleston, Enoch Chiu, or Rev. Jono Wong to secure your spot.

See you Sunday! 🙌

Morning church!

Quick heads up that this coming Sunday is our annual Youth Sunday! Our REMIX youth are leading parts of the service, so keep an eye (and ear) out for them across worship, prayer, and more today.

Rev. Jono will be continuing our Life of David series. We'll be diving into 2 Samuel 6. The sermon title is a tantalising one: "God: not safe, but good." Make sure you read ahead and pray before you come.

And then, straight after the service, we're having a potluck! When you get to church, make sure you leave the dish you've brought in the kitchen for our hospitality team to get ready. Our potlucks are a great chance to hang around, chat, and get to know some new faces.

So stick around after service — good food, good company!

THIS SUNDAY AT LIFESPRING

We’re continuing our “Life of David” sermon series this Sunday as we come to 2 Samuel 1–5 — “New Beginnings”, with Rev. Jono preaching.

📖 A little heads-up: this is a big chunk of Scripture! So, if you can, take some time to read 2 Samuel 1–5 ahead of Sunday. It’ll help you get familiar with the story and engage more deeply with God’s Word as we look at it together.

🍽️ Connect Lunch — This Sunday after church!

If you’re new to LifeSpring, or you’re looking to connect more deeply into the life of our church, you’re very welcome to join us for lunch after the service.

Stay behind, grab some food, meet some people, and hear a little more about who we are as a church and what’s happening at LifeSpring.

We’d love to have you join us! 🙌

See you Sunday!

Dear CCCV LifeSpring fam,

A quick update re parking at Alkira this week.

Alkira's entry gate is currently broken. So the exit gate is the only way in and out. This creates a safety concern. For families walking in and out amid confusing traffic. It also blocks the left-hand turning lane at the intersection, a real inconvenience for our neighbours.

To help manage this:

🚫 We kindly ask parents not to park at Alkira. Please park at the Nunawading Community Hub instead.

🚗 Children's Ministry teachers and helpers have been asked to park at Alkira as they arrive very early, to help free up spots on the street and at the Hub for everyone else.

We're sorry for the inconvenience this causes, and we pray the gate will be fixed soon!

Blessings,
CM (Children's Ministry) Team
