For our 3rd birthday we’re opening up the whole precinct and handing the rooms over to a bunch of the artists, crews and institutions that have shaped this place along the way.

Northcote Theatre: Gilles Peterson with MC Rob Galliano, going for a very casual 6-hour set. With live painting from Olivia Chin and House Arrest

Event Space: Music In Exile presenting Alcides Neto (live), DJ Matab, Selena, Sisterdeep and Rah b2b Langai with Bar Merenda cooking up a storm.

Studio: Skylab Radio with Marley Swain, Chuleo FM, Northside Records DJs, High Note Soundsystem, Karani b2b $ookylala & Raphael Wall b2b Bonnita

We’ve locked in a few new cocktails, a horchata style colada, another smokey blood orange / mezcal creation, a new Korean Dr Pepper / vermouth cocktail. I (Xavier) don’t even like Dr Pepper but this drink changed my life

We’re kicking off the month with a full week of all things piano, bringing artists, crews and friends together across High Note.

𝒫𝒶' 𝓂𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓇𝓁𝑜 𝒸𝑜𝓂𝑜 𝑒' 🫦 continues to keep our winter Thursdays hot 🥵 , Crush Club™ returns with more matchmaking, Dune Castle Records is back in the Event Space, and Permanent Attraction Artist Market takes over the space with another community led edition.

In the Studio, we’ve got Langai Zacks Moyo, Jackson, yangos ⊹₊ ⋆, CANTRIPS | Patrick Ryan, eilish // Ceylon 🤪 and plenty more joining us throughout the month.

PIANO WEEK RETURNS TO HIGH NOTE

Following the response to our first Piano Week, the grand piano is back in the Event Space from 5–13 August for seven nights of live performances, album launches and one-off collaborations.

Across the week, we’ll be joined by some of our favourite artists, labels and crews, with wine and cocktail specials running throughout the program wine🍷 ~🍸

To get things warmed up, Melbourne’s best teen collective will be taking over the Event Space for a free show, doing what they do best.

Then over in the Studio, Northside Records will be holding it down all night.
