Custom vertical batten gate and screening system. 📐

Powder-coated steel battens set at consistent spacing across the gate and fixed screening panels.

The gate frame, latch and hinges were integrated into the system to maintain the same vertical rhythm across the full frontage.

Functional access. Continuous architectural finish. ⚙️

Integrated external metalwork system. 📐

Custom steel pergola frames coordinated with glass screening and horizontal slat balustrade sections.

Different infill systems, post locations and structural elements resolved together in 3D before fabrication — ensuring each component works as part of the same architectural layout.

One model. Multiple fabricated systems. ⚙️

Confined stair access. 📐

Wall-mounted steel handrail fabricated to follow the existing stone stair, with custom brackets and returns designed around the limited clearance between walls.
A simple system, but one driven entirely by the existing site geometry.
Measured to fit. Fabricated to suit. ⚙️

Vertical steel pickets with spearhead detailing, framed between structural posts and powder coated for exterior exposure.
The system was fabricated to provide a secure perimeter while maintaining a design language suited to the existing heritage architecture.
Traditional profile. Modern fabrication. Built to suit the site. ⚙️

Steel frame with slender wire rope infill, individually spaced and fixed between the top and bottom rails.

Larger structural posts integrated within the panel to create a clean, consistent rhythm across the system.
Fully modelled before fabrication. ⚙️

Powder-coated stainless posts and handrails, with horizontal wire infill across the deck and stair sections.
The system was fabricated around the existing deck geometry, coordinating stair pitch, landing transitions and wall-mounted handrail sections as one continuous installation.
Different conditions. One coordinated system. ⚙️

Stainless steel dual handrail system. 📐

Two continuous wall-mounted rails running the full stair flight, with formed returns at the base and stainless steel wall brackets throughout.
Designed around the existing concrete stair geometry to maintain consistent height, clearance and alignment on both sides.
Simple system. Precise set-out. Clean ex*****on. ⚙️

3D model — glass screening system. 📐

Custom glass panels coordinated around a series of steel posts, with varying panel heights and junctions resolved as one system.
Post locations, glass alignment and transitions modelled before fabrication and installation. ⚙️

Retrofit safety solution — existing steel stair system. 📐
The existing stairs were already fitted with handrails and mid rails, but required additional infill to close the open sections.
Custom steel mesh panels were fabricated to fit within the existing framework, improving safety without replacing or redesigning the original balustrade system.
Existing structure. Custom infill. Purpose-built solution. ⚙️

Stainless steel balustrade and handrail system. 📐

Vertical stainless steel posts with wire ropes infill, coordinated through the timber stair, landing and change in direction.
Wall-mounted handrails continue the system beyond the balustrade, maintaining a consistent handrail line throughout the stair access.
Fabricated to suit the stair geometry. ⚙️
