Our secret is finally out!

We’re delighted to announce that the seventh edition of Cinema CNN (Cinema Con Nhà Nghèo), a Vietnamese film screening program, Cặn Cảnh, is coming to Bus Projects, featuring five short films by five Vietnamese filmmakers.

In this edition, Cặn Cảnh explores the intersections between filmmaking and ecological ethics, examining the dialogue between individuals and power structures, while reflecting on cinema’s capacity to engage with landscape, ecology, and histories of place.

Join us on Saturday 15 August, from 2:00 PM for this special cross-cultural screening event and artist talk. And, of course, we’ll make sure there’s plenty of delicious Vietnamese food to enjoy together! 😤

We are excited to announce BUS Projects’ 25th fundraising exhibition, ‘25 artists for 25 years’. 🪩

ARI’s would be nothing without our artists, and as we open doors to our 25th year we can’t help but feel incredibly lucky to be doing so.

Our 2026 fundraiser draws directly from the archive, and through the research undertaken by staff and volunteers ‘25 artists for 25 years’ will open on 22 July, 6–8pm. Accompanied by raffle prizes, community-focused performances & live DJ sets from experts in blak excellence Ethan Savage randals dad and Poli-Pearl Poli-Pearl, we’re expecting opening night to be a pretty special one 🍸

Auctions will take place online for the duration of the show, final bids called at the close of the exhibition on the 15th of August ⭐️
