🔧 WE’RE HIRING | QUALIFIED WELDER / BOILERMAKER
Chimera Development is growing quickly and we’re looking for a qualified Welder / Boilermaker to join our team in Altona.
We design and manufacture Australian-made motorsport products, specialising in roll cages and vehicle-specific fabrication. With production and installs continuing to grow, we’re looking for another skilled fabricator to join the team.
What we’re looking for:
• Qualified Welder / Boilermaker
• Strong MIG and TIG welding skills
• Experience with mild steel and 4130 chromoly
• Roll cage / motorsport fabrication experience highly regarded
• Jig and fixture fabrication experience an advantage
• Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
The role:
• Initially a casual position
• Opportunity to move into part-time or full-time employment as the role grows
• Hands-on work across roll cage installs, fabrication and production
• Opportunity for rapid growth and increased responsibility for the right person
We’re a growing business with plenty happening, so this would suit someone who wants to get involved early, take ownership of their work and grow with Chimera as we expand.
