Not every dad was there from the beginning. Some chose to step in, love deeply and become family. š«
This Fatherās Day, BRAVE is for every stepdad finding his place in a story that started before him.
Send this to a stepdad who deserves to hear it.

"I write from the heart and tell stories of life as a stepdad and reflecting on how country life as a kid shaped a lot more of who I am than I dared to think too deeply about."

Erin couldnāt bring herself to listen to BRAVE for two weeks when it was first produced.
She knew it would take her back to the hardest parts of watching her children grieve the family life they once knew ā while we were trying to find our place in something new.
With Fatherās Day approaching, this song feels especially raw. BRAVE isnāt about replacing a dad. Itās about loving a woman and her children while understanding that their love for him will always have its own place.
This was the moment she finally pressed play. š«
BRAVE is out now.
