🚨 URGENT HELP NEEDED FOR GUCCI 🚨

Meet Gucci ❤️ A beautiful 12-year-old Maltese Shih Tzu cross who has sadly been neglected for most of his life.

One of our team members received an urgent plea for help for this precious boy, and although we don’t usually take on dogs, this was an urgent situation and we simply couldn’t say no. 💔

Gucci has been through a lot. He has severe dental issues, extreme matting that has become so bad it is down to his skin, and skin irritation that is clearly causing him pain and discomfort.

He is also not desexed and is not up to date with his vaccinations. Gucci only has one descended testicle, meaning his desexing will be more involved and will require exploratory surgery to locate the other one.

We desperately want to get this old boy the veterinary care he needs and give him the chance to finally be comfortable and pain-free. ❤️

Unfortunately, this is going to be a big vet bill for our rescue, and we are urgently asking for help.

Any donation, no matter how big or small, would mean so much to Gucci and our team. Every little bit helps us get him the care he needs. 🐾

Donations can be made directly to our vet:

🏥 Maffra Veterinary Clinic

Or donations can be made to:

Commonwealth Bank

Please, if you can spare even a few dollars for Gucci, it would make such a difference. ❤️

We know our rescue is primarily focused on cats, but when an animal is in urgent need and we have the ability to help, we just couldn’t turn our backs on him.

Thank you to everyone who supports us and helps us give animals like Gucci the second chance they deserve. 🐾❤️

Please share Gucci’s story. 🙏

🐾 ESTA IS LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER HOME 🐾

Beautiful Esta is ready to find her forever family ❤️

Esta was originally a street kitten and it has taken around 6 months for her to learn to trust people and come out of her shell.

She can be shy when she first meets you, but once she feels safe and comfortable she does warm up. Her new family will need to understand that she won’t settle in overnight and will need a few days to adjust to her new home and learn that she is safe and can trust them.

Esta would really benefit from having a friendly younger cat in her new home to help build her confidence and give her a little friend to learn from. 🥰

Because of her shy nature, we are looking for a quiet home without young children, with a family who understands that she may take a little time to come out of her shell. She just needs someone patient and willing to give her the time she needs.

She has come such a long way already and deserves a loving home where she can continue to grow in confidence. ❤️

🐾 HUGO IS LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME 🐾

Meet Hugo ❤️ This beautiful fluffy black boy is 6 years old and absolutely full of personality!

If you’re looking for a cat who loves attention and wants to be around his people, Hugo could be the boy for you. He is extremely social, loves attention and will happily sleep on your bed. He will also let you know when he wants to be let into the bedroom 😂

Hugo is a big boy with a big personality. He loves playing with his toys on a stick and is very well house trained.

One thing his new family will need to understand is that belly scratches are NOT Hugo’s thing 😂 His belly is definitely a trigger for him, so he needs someone who can respect his boundaries and understand when he’s saying “no thank you!”

He isn’t too bothered by dogs or other cats, although if going to a home with an older cat, he may need some time and patience with introductions.

Hugo does have a chipped canine tooth, but this doesn’t affect his eating at all and he happily enjoys his food.

Hugo is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated and is ready to find his forever family. ❤️

🐾 HELP US GET BABY THE DENTAL CARE SHE NEEDS 🐾

Our beautiful 12-year-old Baby recently attended her vet appointment for her booster vaccination and routine health check. Unfortunately, during her examination, our vet discovered significant dental issues that require treatment.

💔 Baby’s dental treatment is estimated to cost $1,200.

This was completely unexpected, and as a small rescue, an additional $1,200 veterinary expense is a huge amount for us. We are urgently fundraising so we can get Baby the dental treatment she needs and make sure she is comfortable and healthy.

As a 12-year-old senior girl, Baby deserves to spend her years ahead feeling happy, comfortable and pain-free. ❤️

❤️ EVERY DONATION COUNTS

Whether you can donate $5, $10, $20 or more, every contribution brings us closer to our goal.

If you’re unable to donate, sharing Baby’s fundraiser is another wonderful way you can help us reach our goal.
