From humble beginnings as a young DJ on Melbourne’s nightclub circuit in the year 2000, Mike Steva has evolved into a respected global name, carving out a distinct sound as both a DJ & Producer. With releases on globally revered labels including Yoruba Records, Innervisions, Defected, and MoBlack & more, his music continues to make a lasting impression across the international House Music landscape.
“I started Deeper Roots Music in Melbourne in 2010 because I simply felt there was something missing. With a deep love for House Music — especially the deeper, soulful side of it — I wanted to create a space where that music could be heard, shared and experienced the way I felt it should be. It was never really about building a brand or chasing a scene; it was about the music, the people and the culture.”
