After her son Kevin commits an unspeakable, troubled mother Eva (Tilda Swinton) reflects on her life, her marriage, and her relationship with her sociopathic son.
Lynne Ramsay's adaptation of Lionel Shriver’s book of the same name is deeply unsettling and sensory, making WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT KEVIN as much a horror story as a psychological drama.

Joe (Joaquin Phoenix) is a traumatised mercenary who deals in rescuing trafficked girls. When a senator hires him to rescue his abducted teenage daughter, Joe finds himself knee-deep in a conspiracy that puts those around him in imminent danger.
Based on the Jonathan Ames novel of the same name, Lynne Ramsay’s YOU WERE NEVER REALLY HERE ANYWAY is a impressionistic adaptation, focusing on the psychological trauma of violence.
Debuting at Cannes Film Festival, Ramsay went on to win Best Screenplay, while Phoenix won for Best Actor.
