Vic Masters Rugby

Just when you thought you'd had enough...
Think again, no one ever thought that!

After getting bumped off the Power House grounds during the season due to Grade scheduling & Juniors Finals we thought we’d go for another “last game” for the season to keep the bodies conditioned before the tours begin.

Following the game we’ll head over to Barbarian Brewing Co for a couple of quiet beers & present our season awards

What a game yesterday!
At 2.45pm we were looking lite on for numbers but at kickoff there were subs a plenty, all these fellas must have driven with the heater on as no warm up was required.
Perfect conditions, fast running rugby (well it felt fast), fantastic spirit & a ref who turned up in the spirit also, thanks Bill for making it a good run!
Special thanks for Pete Greene, the master behind for providing the coldest & tastiest beers following the final whistle.
If you haven't sampled their range, get along & treat yourself to some delightful, fresh & crisp ales.

Surprise surprise, we'll be back on the pitch next Friday 28/8 at Box Hill but more on that to follow...

For those of the faith, congrats the All Blacks on a hard fought win in game 1 against the Springboks!

Fantastic Game yesterday while also raising funds for Victoria Police Legacy
It was a fast game, played in the usual great spirit & everyone made it to the bar after for a debrief.
The highlight of the game was our own Joe Monteleone scoring a hard fought try under the post from the back of a ruck.
This was Joes first & the smiles all round told the story.
We have a bye next week but will be playing the Curtin & Churchill Cup at Dane Rd Reserve if anyone wants to support.
The Dewar Shield Grand Finals are on at where you can show your club support & get amongst it!
Our next game is on 22 August & is now being hosted at 's Orrong Park, details to follow.
Rest up, recover & see you at the next kick off!

The Police Vikings Rugby Club and Vic Masters Rugby are proud to team up once again for one of the most meaningful fixtures of the year—the Police Legacy Game, which will be held on Saturday, August 8th, at the Southern Districts Rugby Club in Seaford.
This annual event has become a cornerstone in the Vic Masters calendar, and this year, it carries even greater significance as we raise funds and awareness for this vital organisation: Police Legacy Victoria

Whether you're strapping on the boots or cheering from the sideline, your presence helps raise awareness and funds for this incredible cause — and brings people together in the spirit of fun, footy, and community.
Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about rugby. It’s about compassion, connection, and backing those who have our backs every day.

To play in the event, you must register via RugbyXplorer (This is in addition to the Season Registration). The registration covers basic insurance and includes a donation that will go completely to Victoria Police Legacy

Games kick off at 2.30pm for 45's & 3.30pm for 35's
