🎓 A SECOND CHANCE TO COMPLETE THE JOURNEY – VISA 500 GRANTED

A visa refusal can be a major setback, but for our client, it wasn’t the end of the journey. We’re delighted to share another successful Student Visa (Subclass 500) outcome! 🎉

Our client initially applied to extend their Student Visa to complete the remainder of their course in Australia. However, the application was refused due to an issue relating to the English language evidence required for the application.

Following the refusal, our team carefully reviewed the circumstances and assisted the client with the review process, preparing a detailed written submission to address the issue and explain the client’s case. ⚖️📄

❤️ DOUBLE THE GOOD NEWS – PARTNER VISAS 820 & 801 GRANTED TOGETHER! 🇦🇺✨

One application journey, two wonderful outcomes! We’re delighted to celebrate a double Partner Visa grant – Subclass 820 and Subclass 801 – for our client on the same day. 🎉❤️

The journey began when the Partner Visa application was lodged on 10 September 2024. After patiently progressing through the process, our client received an s56 request for a health examination on 17 August 2026, which was completed as required.

Then came the fantastic news on 24 September 2026: both the temporary Partner Visa (Subclass 820) and permanent Partner Visa (Subclass 801) were granted together! ✅✅🇦🇺

⚖️ FROM VISA REFUSAL TO A POSITIVE ART OUTCOME – CASE REMITTED FOR RECONSIDERATION 🇦🇺✨

📅 On 24 June 2026, our client received a visa refusal from the Department due to concerns that the relevant English language requirement had not been satisfied.

The case was particularly challenging because the client had attempted the English test several times within a limited 28-day period but was still unable to achieve the required result.

Rather than giving up, our team carefully reviewed the client’s circumstances and explored an alternative way to address the issue. After receiving an invitation to provide a written submission to the Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) on 8 July 2026, our team prepared a detailed explanation and supporting arguments on the client’s behalf.

📄 The written submission was lodged on 5 August 2026.

And on 24 September 2026, we received the positive news: the ART decided to remit the matter to the Department for reconsideration. ✅⚖️

This is an important step forward for our client. While a remittal does not itself mean that the visa has been granted, it means the original matter will now return to the Department to be reconsidered in accordance with the ART’s decision.
