brings more than a decade of experience to the tables and CDJs; from a teenaged Revolver
Resident to a main stay at Gaytimes festival here in Naarm and Folsom festival in Berlin. While
being a highly respected House DJ, he is also of course a lifelong lover of all sorts of music,
always bringing a broad but consistently curated range of tunes with a euphoric and
unapologetically q***r through-line

A consummate professional and adaptive room reader, he is certain to bring musical magic, be it
stunning selection from his deep pockets or his own productions, edits and remixes. Category is:

Melbourne lust collides with Berlin sleaze across three floors of METROPOL: a night of flesh, sweat, leather and surrender in the world’s most unapologetically liberated city. A lineup like this doesn’t come around twice

Featuring DJ Ruby (SYD)

A cornerstone of Sydney’s electronic scene, DJ and producer Ruby has been lighting up dance floors since 1998. Famed for his euphoric trance sound, soaring melodies and driving beats that lift and ignite. Ruby isn’t afraid to descend into darker territory. At events like his own GRIT Melbourne or Melbourne’s DELINQUENT, he delivers raw, industrial techno with seething textures and a late-night pulse that grips the underground

Known for immersive sets and theatrical laser shows, Ruby draws on his background in lighting design to elevate each performance. His events have become fixtures in Australia’s q***r dance culture, from Sydney Mardi Gras to Tropical Fruits and Trance on the Harbour. In September, Ruby debuts at Metropol Berlin for ADAM’s Official Folsom Europe Opening Party 2026

Off the dancefloor, Ruby helms the Ruby Trance label, promoting uplifting and vocal trance rooted in LGBTQ+ pride. His motto ‘Soar like an eagle on the wings of our music’ speaks to his artistic vision; but it also accurately reflects his lasting influence on the nation’s electronic music landscape
