Some very lovely things have been said about our production of Don Giovanni! While reviews aren’t necessarily a barometer for success or impact, it’s nice to know when people are responding well to what we’re doing.

“Kiran Rajasingam is an excellent comic counterweight as Leporello. His voice is rich, but he also has the timing and physical ease to keep the long evening moving.” - The Scoop

“Kiran Rajasingam both sang and acted this role magnificently. His Catalogue aria a triumph!“ - 5MBS

Thank you for the kind words!

More than anything, it feels wonderful to get this show in front of an audience and have people to share this opera with. Tomorrow night we take the stage at the Gippsland Performing Arts Centre, and I for one cannot wait!

Last night we closed out our season of the utterly stunning production of La Traviata for .

Making music with the superlative and spending time with these excellent humans always feels like a bit of a homecoming. On top of that, being trusted to cover the Marquis d’Obigny this season has really topped off a special few weeks.

This week in particular has been massive, performing this show each night while also rehearsing for tonight’s 70th Anniversary Gala concert during the days. But watching this phenomenal group of people rally around each other to make it happen and continue to deliver the goods every day has been deeply inspiring.

While I’m looking forward to a good night’s sleep after tonight, my heart is so full being in a position to do this job that I love as often as I get to. Bring on the Gala!

⭐️AND THAT’S A WRAP! ⭐️ Last night we closed out our season of this raucously fun, sparkling show for . The Pirates of Penzance has been such a delight to bring to the stage with this phenomenal group of humans. What a way to kick off a jam packed 2026!

Shout out to all the other performers and theatre workers with young kids. Those continuous, disrupted runs of late night finishes to very early morning wake ups are no joke.
