Now open! A coworking space with on-site childcare – helping parents successfully combine careers and family life.
Happy Hubbub is a local ‘work hub’ for parents in Melbourne’s north. Our coworking space offers internet and printing/scanning facilities, bookable meeting rooms and private offices, kitchen with tea/coffee facilities, plus on-site childcare. The childcare is a boutique long day care facility with 16 spaces per day, approved for CCB and CCR purposes. With long day care and half-day options, it allows parents to work in the coworking space with their children close by, being looked after by qualified childcare professionals.
Running a business while raising young children is no small feat. Hubbub member Anya knows that juggle well.
Anya is one of the founders of Soft Pause, a Melbourne-made functional bodycare brand created by two parents navigating early parenthood.
As Anya explains:
“Made in Melbourne, soft pause is a functional bodycare brand made for finding calm on hectic days. Designed by two parents navigating early parenthood, our products ease the tension of a day running at full speed, and soothe the sensory overwhelm that's all too familiar to parents of young kids.”
We love seeing the businesses our Hubbub community is building alongside family life.

We’re delighted to officially welcome Tascha to our team as a casual educator.
Tascha first joined us as a student, completing her placement across our Bunjil and Djirri Djirri rooms and is staying on as part of our casual educator team.
Welcome to the team, Tascha! 💛

A sense of belonging grows through small moments that children experience every day.
A familiar face greeting them each morning. An educator who knows what makes them smile. A friend waiting to play. The confidence to join a group activity. The comfort of knowing they’re safe, valued and accepted.
These moments are the foundation for lifelong learning.
That’s why we place such a strong focus on nurturing relationships, creating consistent routines and helping every child feel like an important part of our community.

As part of our Wayapa Wuurrk program, children are learning about caring for Country through movement, mindfulness, storytelling and time in nature.
Our educators build on these experiences through conversations, books, artwork, nature play and opportunities for children to reflect on what they’ve learnt.
This helps children deepen their understanding while making meaningful connections between new experiences and everyday learning.

Messy play encourages children to make choices, take appropriate risks, build confidence and explore new ideas without worrying about finding the “right” answer.
Some of the richest learning happens when children are free to explore, imagine and discover at their own pace.
Curious about our play-based approach? We’d love to show you around. Book a tour today.

🌿✨ "Connect to the Earth." ✨🌿
That is the meaning behind Wayapa Wuurrk.
Lately, our children at Happy Hubbub have been diving deep into nature through Indigenous storytelling and mindful movement. From acting out trees blowing in the wind to learning how to care for our soil, every session is packed with sensory play and holistic wellbeing.
We are incredibly proud of our little caretakers of the Earth! 🌍❤️
