Another take on the stairs. A detail I love is how the blue wall on the right bleeds into the oak wall on the left via the stairs.

Curved detail in the architecture above stairwell. It’s the small details.

You may have missed seeing posts from me for quite a while. Maybe you did t notice but I’m going to pretend you did 😁. I went through the challenge of renovating my own home last year and was completely burnt out. I couldn’t bring myself to post any pics. Doesn’t mean I’m not proud of the outcome - I was just over it. Good news though. I’m back!! I’m promising to post each day for um, a good length of time (whatever that is) I’m starting with a project finished last week after a year and a half in the planning and build. The entry was tiled in these beautiful biscuit tiles in 4 different profiles and ended with bronze mirror which makes the entry feel triple as long. Beautiful hand made vase and mandarin coloured orchids.

Our country property is just finishing off the finer touches before our clients’ patience pays off. We’re getting the lighting right, final coat of paint, handles and appliances are being installed. Our clients are sooo close

Thanks to for this gorgeous artwork by Brett Anthony Moore for a recent commercial install. It’s illuminated by LED’s from behind and the colours come alive. We chose more subdued colours for this particular client and it really draws your eye at the end of a hallway

I know, I know!! It’s been forever since I’ve posted. Initially I had a good excuse with herniated discs in my neck then it was just laziness. Keeping it real…. However, my projects are still moving in and one of my favourites is the country property. So happy to see the plaster going and even some paint! Tiling is imminent and my client’s hearts and beating faster. 4 years in temporary accommodation. They are READY. Hope you like how it’s turning out. The pressed metal ceiling are still original - 150 years old. Still amazing.

Shout out to my unbelievably talented niece Saskia Vander from on graduating from the National College of the Arts with an outstanding range of work. She’s such a clever dickie.
