To celebrate the opening day of Camp Stove, we’re hosting an afternoon of conversations, performance and workshops with curator Kate ten Buuren () and the artists of Camp Stove; an exhibition on the craft of Q***r Blak survivance.

The program is presented through Craft’s First Peoples-led Program 2026 – featuring impact-led initiatives including First Peoples only programs and engagement with local First Peoples-owned businesses. The exhibition and programs are supported by Creative Victoria and Thorne Harbour Health.

The exhibition reimagining timber supply sources in contemporary woodworking practice. Seven artists and makers with specialised knowledge of timber engage the material beyond newly processed, machined slabs and find possibilities in existing materials.

Now showing in Felled – discover Mark Lilly's innovative process working with Australian Banksia seed pods – and their potential uses as a sustainable material in furniture-making. In Felled, he presents the Banksia Grandis series, a collection featuring side table, bench, mirror and lamp.
