Banks Rowing Club

Over the past 8 weeks we have welcomed new junior rowers into our club!🩷💙

It has been a successful 8 weeks, the small but mighty winter squad have been able to train in a range of different boats, from doubles to eights.

We have been able to see the improvement from each of the rowers, their skills and confidence has grown week by week, building them up for a strong start for the school rowing season.

We can’t wait to see the rowers absolutely smash their school seasons! 🚣‍♀️🩷💙

Meet Ella, Banks’ very own PR3 Australian Rower!
She’s been putting in the KMs over in Europe and we couldn’t be more proud 🩷💙

We are so proud of Ella for placing 3rd in the PR3Mix2x at World Cup III in Lucerne, it really shows all the hard work and effort that she’s put in. 💛💚

Congratulations Ella, from everyone at Banks!

🚣‍♀️Winter Sculling is back!🚣‍♀️

Another year of competing at the Australian National Championships down at Lake Barrington! With a smaller squad than last year, our athletes battled some very tough conditions out on the course 🌊🌊 Their hard work throughout the season was on show as all our rowers put up a great fight against very challenging competition. Well done to all our Banks athletes on an amazing season! 🩷💙

A State Championship to remember 🏆🩷

Day 3 of the Victorian State Championships saw Banks Rowing Club finish on top of the medal tally after a huge day of racing in tough conditions at Lake Wendouree.

Taking it up to some of the largest clubs in Victoria and coming out on top shows exactly how much the program has grown across Club and High Performance. The depth across every grade, the composure under pressure and the ability to convert finals into medals says a lot about where Banks is at right now.

Massive thank you to for running a fantastic championship.
