Backstreet Café was featured in The Sunday Mail & Courier Mail’s “Five to Try”, celebrating standout French toast across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.

We’re incredibly happy to once again receive recognition beyond our local community, and to see our little café in Mooloolaba selected as one of just five across such a wide part of Queensland is a pretty special milestone for us.

Our Banana Bread French Toast got its little moment in the spotlight, and seeing Backstreet in the paper like this feels pretty surreal.

We’ve always tried to make breakfast in Mooloolaba a little different: homemade food, great coffee, colourful plates and plenty of personality.

And Yes!! Everything is made in-house.

Our pancakes are made fresh daily and finished to order on the griddle fluffy, golden and served warm.
Layered with silky lemon custard, topped with torched meringue and finished with fresh lemon.

More than breakfast .. it’s an experience made to share.

Our Breakfast Feast is designed for two or more and features a generous selection of our house favourites.

Includes:
• Homemade and fresh baked cheese bread
• Creamy scrambled eggs
• Crispy bacon & Triple smokedchorizo
• Ham & cheese
• Sourdough toast
