Lifeguards patrol the beach at all other times, with the beach patrolled 7 days a week, all year. β€οΈπ **CONGRATULATIONS STEVE!** β€οΈπ
A huge congratulations to our very own Steve Barclay on his appointment as President of Surf Life Saving Queensland.
Steve has been a proud member of Mooloolaba Surf Life Saving Club for more than 40 years and has made an incredible contribution to surf lifesaving at both club and state level.
His passion for our volunteers, our clubs and the wider surf lifesaving movement is second to none. Steve has served on the SLSQ Board since 2023 and brings a wealth of leadership, governance and public service experience to the role.
We are incredibly proud to see one of our own take on this important leadership position and know Steve will continue to champion the incredible volunteers who keep Queenslandβs beaches safe.
Congratulations Steve β a fantastic achievement and one the whole Mooloolaba family can be proud of! πβ€οΈπ
