2,100 miles in one Sun Hoodie.

Grant Munn set out to hike the 2,650-mile Pacific Crest Trail for the second time. Ninety days later, after crossing California and Oregon, wildfire smoke near Mount Hood brought his journey to an early end.

Through 2,100 miles, the Sun Hoodie went with him. Long days, changing conditions and countless kilometres on trail. The hood cinch, watch hole and thumb holes earned their keep, while the fast-drying UPF 50+ fabric proved itself day after day.

Would he wear it for another 90-day stretch? “Bloody oath.”

“Pfffft - do I scramble!?

When it was first mentioned that I should try to get up a Flatiron while I was in Boulder, I had my apprehensions.

To be completely honest, it was living rent free in my head for about a week. But I also knew that because I was feeling that way… I had to give it a go.

Enter Flatiron #2.

I was hoping Jimmy James Khoo was going to make me look way cooler, but turns out even he has his limits. 😂

I’m incredibly fortunate that “work” gives me opportunities to go on adventures like this, but there were definitely moments climbing that thing where I was seriously questioning whether I could get up… Followed pretty quickly by looking down and realising going back wasn’t exactly appealing either.

Massive shout to Connor Quinn and Tim Straley for basically holding my hand 🤣 Absolute legends for getting me up there!

Big miles, even bigger landscapes, plenty of laughs and one seriously good day in the mountains.
