I run this page as a outlet for my passion for Rugby.

The Brisbane based Business that allows me to be able to afford to run this page is Keys Labour Hire
& Keys Fit Testing Services

So please forgive me if occasionally I promote these businesses.

This is a very proud moment in business.

When History Repeats in the Best Way Possible

Over a decade ago, a client at Herron Coorey asked if we could give his son, James, a leg up in between plumbing jobs.

We brought James on at Keys, gave him some site work, and supported him as he built his career.

Fast forward 10 or so years: James is now a Site Foreman for Matthew Bedford Nicholas Bedford from Bedford Built—and he’s coming to us to order workers for his own sites.

But the story doesn’t stop there.
Around 10 years ago, Ben O'Shea came to work for us as a labourer/carpenter.

We helped Ben transition across various clients until he eventually landed at Herron Coorey as a Supervisor.

Just recently, Ben reached out asking if we could give his son—who happens to be a plumber—a opportunity on site.

On Monday, Ben’s son steps onto one of our client sites as a skilled labourer.

Seeing a supervisor who used to work for you ask you to mentor and place his own son is something special.

Whether or not history repeats itself completely and I one day I have Ben's son ordering workers from us, Doesn't matter!

Having Keys Labour Hire and the Keys Group in business long enough to watch these full-circle moments unfold is what makes running this company truly rewarding.

A pathway for our players that missed the school level net, or needed more game time to develop has always been the missing link in the Australian Rugby landscape.

The PAC boys have identified this and like all passionate rugby people have thrown their hearts and heads at the problem.

I have always said "Rugby Thrives when Passionate people get the Support they need.

Well here is your chance to help build this missing link and get in on the ground level with this amazing concept.

TIME TO SWITCH ON: In a little over 24 hours time, 20 men have their date with destiny. It has been a long, challenging season for the Betoota Dolphins 4th Grade team. The finished mid-table, they haven't lifted when they needed to lift. However, they did lift and give 110 percent at the moments that demanded nothing less. From a qualifying final last month, to the quarters, semis and now tomorrow, they have their chance to win one of the Channel Country Rugby League's greatest crowns. Last night down sheds at Remienko Oval, 4th grade captain Bevan Leigh took his boys through a very light session. Not much contact, just keeping the blood moving through the muscles, keeping the mind quick. There were moments of joy. They let the front rowers practice their drop goals. The ho**er, Paul, took his first ever kick at goal. He's a 37-year-old tax accountant. But in this vignettes of levity, Bevan was quick to remind them of the mountain yet to climb. "Boys," he said. He stood in the middle of the change rooms as the team got back in their civvies. "This is what we've been working towards all season. The grand final. At the end of the day, it's a game of two halves and we need to win both of those halves. We'll do that by being fitter, stronger and faster. If we fitter, stronger and faster than the Windorah W***y W***ys, we will win. It's as simple as that." The coach nodded along in support. "We will be in the trenches tomorrow. We will execute our gameplan, we'll leave nothing on the field. Mashallah, we will win, lads." The statement was backed up by a few hand claps and a handful of whoops. More to come. 05/09/2026
