Ever wondered how much the material changes the price of a laser-cut part? We cut the exact same bracket in 304 Stainless (No.4), 5005 Aluminium, Mild Steel P&O and Mild Steel Black Plate, and priced them at quantity 2 and quantity 10.
Quick takeaway: order 10 instead of 2 and the price per part drops massively — from around $32 each down to $8–9 in stainless and aluminium, and as low as $6.40 in mild steel. Each material has its place too, so we chat a little about what suits what.
