Faith over Fear!!
It takes a certain amount of hubris (hu·bris [ˈh(j)uːbrɪs] Noun: excessive pride or self-confidence) to think you could try what Ryan Ryan Sheckler has done over his career - let alone attempt those things - let alone be successful at them!! It’s been an amazing career to watch develop over the years and see those historic moments in skateboarding that will be remembered forever!
It was a pleasure to meet Ryan and capture some non-skateboarding shots of him during the Red Bull Skateboarding 🛹 Spot Check Melbourne! I’d love to ask Ryan Sheckler sometime what is it that makes home believe he can do such crazy things??

As much as I love shooting the skating it’s the people and the craziness around the events that makes special!! And then having a little fun with the edits!! Boost Mobile Red Bull Skateboarding 🛹 ICHPIG® Fast Times Skateboarding

What an incredible project to be apart of! Being a huge Kylie Minogue fan from her Neighbours days to getting a personalised photo from her a few years ago (see end of video) to now being apart of this project, with the artist Adnate who I’ve been a huge fan of his incredible work for many years! Thank you Juddy Roller for including me - it’s always a please hanging out with you guys!!

Live shooting is challenging to capture those moments that stand out and has feeling and are emotive - and then there is shooting chocolatestarfishband 🤯 every crazy moment needed to be captured- I was exhausted by the end 🥵 thanks to Southside Racing

My favourite thing about shooting live music is the lighting and playing with all the strong and subtle lighting effects! Then editing the shots to black and whites makes for some great arty shots!! The Temper Trap @ Southside Racing
