The Cyclone Cafe was established in 1994. This unassuming haunt was constructed of post Cyclone Tracey materials. The Cafe is riddled with rusty corrugated iron for the exterior and décor, which is a reference to the flying tin from roofs that posed the greatest danger during the cyclone hence the name Cyclone Cafe. Enter inside this quirky cafe and there’s a friendly space serving excellent coffee widely acclaimed as the best in Darwin. The meals are made to order with fresh local ingredients. There is a wide range of gluten free and vegetarian meals. Know to locals as an institution if you haven't visited this little gem put it on your must see list!
